Marcia Harvey
Marcia Harvey is an African-American author, but is most well-known because she was the ex-wife of comedic legend and TV host, Steve Harvey. Marcia Harvey has a quiet life, opting to avoid the attention of the media. Although Steve did not have anywhere in the same level of success he enjoys now the couple was married for fourteen years. It's unclear what led to the split, although Hollywood has heard rumors of it. Some believe it was Steve Harvey's unfaithful ways and others believe it was due on his decision to pursue comedy as a profession. Steve Harvey dispersed her from his two daughters when she was expecting their third child, which caused her to feel devastated. Despite all the struggles she's managed to build an impressive career out of fashion design and writing. Her works include "Marcia Eyes To The Soul", "Marcia" and "Marcia Poems From The Heart". Her generosity has been a source of inspiration to her children. Marcia Harvey was raised in an African-American family and is not well-off. Her first job was at an department store called "Saks Fifth Avenue'. She was introduced to Steve a few years later at a party hosted by a mutual friend's party. The two fell in love and were married in the year 1980. Steve was an insurance agent in the year 1980. The couple was blessed with twin daughters in 1982. But, by the time they were born, Steve began to lose interest in his work and was looking to make an income in entertainment, especially stand-up comedy. He and Marcia could not get with each other and it was later reported that they'd been living in a relationship since 1990. The majority of the fame of Marcia Harvey resulted from her marriage to Steve Harvey and her divorce to Steve Harvey. Although the details of their divorce from 1994 are kept secret, it is obvious that Marcia was expecting their third child at the time that everything fell apart. Marcia ultimately filed for divorce in 1993. Following her divorce and Steve Harvey's refusal to pay alimony and child support, Marcia was forced to take legal action.
