Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was conceived in McComb, Mississippi, and was raised in Kentwood. As a young girl, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great at gymnastics, winning many competitions and the like. Britney enjoys singing and, more important, she was a fan of dancing classes. Britney tried to audition for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) at age 8. She was denied because of her age. Britney was then referred to the off-Broadway production "Ruthless" in which she performed the lead role for two years. She was back for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) but this time , as an actual mouseketeer. But her most significant break occurred in the mid-90s when she was signed as a Jive Recording artist. After the release of her debut album"Baby "...Baby One More Time" in early 1999, Britney became an international success and sold 13 million copies of "Baby" and 9 million copies (as of July 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I Did It Again", released in May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears & Jamie Spears She has a big brother named Bryan Spears & a little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. From a young age, Britney was always fixing to be a superstar with her idols like Madonna, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, the young Britney could be heard singing, regardless of the other events going on in the world around her. Britney was a candidate for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989-1994) on the television when she was just 8. However, she was too young to play the role. Britney and her infant sister, Britney, moved to New York, where she was featured in numerous TV commercials and an off Broadway show called "Ruthless" which was directed by the direction by Natalie Portman. She fell in love with music and dance two years later when she was auditioning again for "Mickey Mouse", winning the part alongside Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.
