Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone, also known as Emma, was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 6, 1988. She was married to Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), who is a homemaker, and Jeffrey Charles Stone (CEO of a company for contracting founder and CEO). She is of Swedish as well as British Isles roots. Stone started acting when she was a kid in Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. There she performed her first stage production in "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame. She appeared in many more productions in her early teens until, around the age of 15, she decided that she wanted to make acting her career. Officially, she designed a PowerPoint presentation, supported by Madonna's "Hollywood" and titled "Project Hollywood", to convince her parents to let her go to school and relocate to Los Angeles. After the pitch was accepted, the couple moved to LA. She continued her education at home and was able to audition. Her TV debut was when she was cast as Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality/talent show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The show led to a variety of minor TV roles throughout the years. After a string of success with her part as Olive in Easy A (2010) was her first film role. In Phoenix, Arizona, she was a student at Xavier College Preparatory. While she is a redhead, her natural hair color her hair is blonde. It was Judd Apatow who suggested she change her hair color for Superbad (2007) and she loved it so much that she decided to keep it. When she was 15, she convinced her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood by creating the PowerPoint presentation that was appropriately named Project Hollywood. She began her career in acting at 11 years of age in the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, where she starred in over 16 stage productions and also acting in the comedy improv troupe. Caylee Cowan was also acted in the Valley Youth Theatre.
